ABOUT MTC

In 2012, Marksmanship Training Center was founded with the vision of creating a national level firearms training center which is also available to the local shooting community. MTC is owned and operated by several military veterans with many years of experience which can be passed onto you through our extensive classes and courses, competitive events, and facility reservation programs for commercial training companies and professional Mil/LE training groups.   

We offer a variety of courses for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Our courses cover everything from basic handgun safety to advanced tactical training.

The mission of the Marksmanship Training Center is to bring an advanced level of firearms training to the shooting community for personal skill enhancement, competitive challenges and professional training. No matter your proficiency level, our ranges and classes are designed to improve real world application of your firearm. While we intend to provide the most advanced shooting center complete with all the tools, knowledge and resources a professional needs for continuous practical application, we also intend to deliver a relaxed environment to learn, practice, and master. 

After utilizing this range you will soon realize it’s practicality in real world scenarios from tactical operations to long range hunting.

• 4 Big bore target bunkers located at 300y, 550y, 700y and 1050 yards capable of handling 333, 408 and 50MBG. 
• UKD Cheat Cards  – Our clients are able to download/print a prefilled range card prior to visiting the range. Take advantage of this training tool as personal verification against your range estimation.
• Astroturf - While at MTC you will be treated with artificial grass while in the prone because we don’t like laying on concrete either. 
• Obstacles - We have added several alternative shooting platforms which will simulate real world barrier shooting positions.
• Weather Effects - Multiple wind flags are flown down range. Mini weather stations will also be displayed for proper data book entries.
• Sun Direction – While most ranges are designed to shoot south to north, our range is setup just the opposite to add real world environmental difficulties on the shooter.

We understand having a long range paper targets are a valuable asset to any serious shooter; either for training, competitions, or even personal ballistic load testing. Utilizes the same comfortable firing line pavilion as our 1000 yard UKD range.

• Military style carriers are capable of using FULL size (72 x 72 inch) targets.

Our primary long range becomes quite busy with classes, competitions and law enforcement reservations. Because we value our members commitment, we built a second long range that is available for recreational shooting only.

These ranges where a must have for the owners of MTC. We enjoy pistol and carbine shooting as much long range and understand the need to master multiple weapon systems. If you carry on the job, have a CCW, or have a weapon for home protection – it is your responsibility to know and master your firearm(s).

This range is not available for recreational use and is only to be used for professional instruction with staff supervision or prior approval.

This range is designed for dynamic vehicle and urban tactics. Starting in 2024, this range is not available for recreational use and is only to be used for professional instruction with staff supervision or prior approval.

This is a scaled down version of our UKD long range and is designed for rim fire precision rifles *NO CENTER FIRE CALLIBERS*. This is a perfect asset to finetune your precision rifle skills at a fraction of the ammunition cost.

For MTC Members Only - This self paced field course simulates target engagements in a natural environment. All targets must be located, ranged, and then engaged from the marked target engagement positions. You can walk the groomed rolling 0.75 mile course, or utilize our golf carts (when available).
