 We are experimenting with the idea of building an MTC Pro Shop on campus. For now, we are stocking limited inventory on selected products we know MTC members use regularly. If successful, we will continue to acquire new dealer accounts and grow inventory on requested products.

​During early stages of this experiment, we will limit the online Pro Shop to MTC members only. Use the current gate code to access. courses and programs to find the perfect fit for your skill level and interests. Thank you for choosing Marksmanship Training Center & Pro-Shop Firearms Academy!

Transportation of firearms around the facility: 

• Long guns will be carried in a case.  If not cased, they should be slung muzzle up or muzzle down or carried in a controlled manner with the muzzle up or muzzle down.
• Pistol should be cased or in a holster until on the firing line.  
• Pistols should not be carried in hand off of the range, such as to the parking lot.

Closed gate policy: 

• For recreational shooting the gate will be closed behind the entering member, unless staff is on site.
• For matches or events, the gate may remain open during registration.  The gate should be closed before live fire begins, unless staff is on site.

Range 2:

• When firing from inside the conex box, the muzzle must pass through the open window.
• Firing from the top level is not allowed except under special circumstances for events or training with staff approval and coordination. 

Range 7 is not open for unsupervised recreational use unless the member has been approved.

• Members are eligible for approval if; 
  • They have a professional membership.
  • They have completed either Advanced Handgun (HG2) or Advanced Carbine (C2).

Exceptions to the range rules may be made at curtain events, but that does not mean that unsupervised members may make the same exceptions on their own.  No exceptions to the range rules can be made without staff approval and coordination.

MTC members can use the Press Box above the Range #1 firing line, to take a cozy break from the weather. Not to shoot from though, that's restricted to special supervised events. The door code is same as gate code. Inside the Press box we'll have some chairs, heaters for winter months, ceiling fan for breeze, wall hooks are for a hammock, and best of all.. Inside the cabinet is a MagnetoSpeed, torque wrench, common tools needed for rifles and scope rings, a cleaning rod, and a spotting scope all there for members to use. Put it away when you're done. If you break it, you buy it. There will also be a self serve $ soda mess in a refrigerator stocked full of cold waters and sodas for them hot days. *Absolutely no alcohol on the range.*  Honor and integrity goes a long way. Don't ruin it for others!
