Instructor / Director of Operations
In the Marine Corps, Clare served for 8.5 years with 3rd Battalion - 1st Marine Division, 1st LAR (Light Armored Reconnaissance) and as a Combat Instructor at the School of Infantry. While in the Marine Corps he received specialized training as a Scout Sniper (8541), HRST Master (Helicopter Rope Suspension Training), USMC Martial Arts Instructor, Radio Communications Operator, and TACP forward observer (Tactical Air Control Party). Clare was deployed multiple times overseas in both peace and war time awarding him operational experience as well as cross training with several foreign forces. He is currently still operationally active conducting over a decade of high threat protection in Afghanistan under the Diplomatic Security Service of the Dept. of State and Other U.S. Gov't Agencies. Clare is also the co-owner of Gunfighter, LLC and recently authored a fictional novel ZNIPER .
Instructor / Director of Training
Serving in the Marine Corps for 8 years, Greg was assigned to the Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) Company. While there he received highly specialized training in C.Q.B., Long Range Marksmanship, Combat Medicine, Mountain Warfare, V.B.S.S. and Helicopter borne Operations. After completing multiple combat deployments, Greg left the Corps. Greg spent the next 3 years working closely with government agencies while conducting protective operations for high ranking dignitaries, ambassadors and heads of state, throughout Iraq and Afghanistan. Greg would go on to support other government agencies in security operations and continues to work in protective operations. Additionally Greg Is a multi discipline martial artist, NRA Certified Instructor, he designs products for tactical applications and has been with MTC since its birth. Socials: Gundo LLC

Corey is a former Marine Corps Scout Sniper that served 4 years with the 3rd Battalion 1st Marines from 2004 to 2008 completing two deployments to Al Anbar Province, Iraq. During his last active year he was a pre-sniper instructor preparing Marines for Scout Sniper Basic Course. After being honorably discharged, he supported Department of State operations as a designated defensive marksman. In this role he supported emergency reaction teams at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan for over two years. After working in Afghanistan he moved to the U.S. Consulate in Basra, Iraq where he also operated as a designated defensive marksman on advance teams and primary personal protection details for four years. After working in these roles Corey went on to support other U.S. Government agencies in similar capacities. Corey is now on the Vortex Training Team and has been with Marksmanship Training Center since its inception in 2011.

Bob provided 22 years of military service through both Active Duty and Army National Guard assignments. He served in 8th Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division, 12th Special Forces Group, F Co 425 Infantry (ABN)(LRS), HHC 125th Infantry and 177th Regional Training Institute, completing two combat deployments while with F Co 425th. He has held numerous positions in the Infantry, notably Reconnaissance Team Leader, Scout/Sniper Section Leader, and Scout/Sniper Platoon Sergeant. He holds formal credentials as a POST certified Sniper instructor as well as NRA Rifle instructor. Bob has been instructing civilian based courses since 2009 and is our Lead Precision Rifle Instructor. He also competes in both LE/MIL Sniper matches and fits in a couple PRS style matches a year. His civilian education includes an undergraduate degree from University of Detroit Mercy and graduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Jeff has been serving as a full-time certified law enforcement officer in the State of Michigan for 23 years. He has served as a certified inter-departmental firearms instructor for 6 years. In addition to learning and training others in various LEO based tactics, he received specialized training in the area of V.C.Q.B. He owns his own firearms training business and has been instructing civilian based self-defense courses since 2013. He actively competes in both PRS and LE/MIL Sniper field matches around the United States. He is an NRA Range Safety Officer, Certified Pistol instructor, and Personal Protection in The Home instructor. He is an avid Midwest hunter and is proficient in precision rifle hand loading. He is also an SSI certified open water diver. He earned an undergraduate degree from Delta College in Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. He is a practitioner of the martial arts discipline of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has been an MTC members since 2019.

Guy is a U.S Army Reserve Veteran serving from 6 years as a 91D Operating room specialist (1984-1990). He now has a technical career in Automation / Controls Engineer. Guy holds a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and former instructor. Professional credentials include: NRA Basic Pistol and Personal Protection in the Home instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, Associate ADSI member, NRA Life Member. Multi discipline competitive shooter. (LR/3Gun/Defensive Handgun). Perpetual student in Combative Pistol, Shotgun, Carbine and Long Range. Currently serving in law enforcement.

Dan is a Michigan Army National Guard veteran, having deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. SGT. Dan R. completed Army Sniper Selection program, achieved Top Gun in Squad Designated Marksman School, then graduated US Army Sniper School in Little Rock, AR. He continued to improve his knowledge by attending numerous private shooting schools taught by several state and nationally recognized instructors. To sharpen his marksmanship skills further, Dan began a competitive shooting career, becoming one of very few National Guard All Guard Sniper Team Competitors to hold state, national, and international titles. He has also graduated from both Army Basic Military Mountaineer Course and an advanced Mountain Rifleman Course. Today, he is a married father of three, and continues his passion of marksmanship thru education and competition.

While in the Marine Corps, Will spent his 5 years of service with 3rd Battalion – 6th Marine Division as a platoon radio operator and vehicle commander with a CAAT platoon. Will deployed twice with 3/6 on the 24th MEU. His second deployment was called to Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. After his time in the service, Will went on to create CAATail Antennas and peruse a part-time career in law enforcement. He enjoys traveling for classes, competing in competitive pistol sports (USPSA & IDPA) and designing new products for the tactical community.
